It all depends on the food that you want to cook. We recommend dicing food into small cubes of around 10mm. The heating/cooking time is determined automatically by the quantity of water poured into the steamer base.

The maximum weight that can be measured by the scales. With Terraillon, the capacity ranges from 2kg to 15kg, which allows you to make everyday dishes as well as more occasional recipes.

All bathroom scales are calibrated differently and there can be small differences between the results shown on two different products. However, if these variations are minor (+/- 2kg), then the product is not faulty.

As for weight measurements, body fat results can vary without the product being faulty. A common reason for a variation in body fat is a variation in body water levels. To extrapolate the percentage of fat, our products first measure the water content. These can vary hugely depending on the time of day, on whether you have been to the bathroom and at different stages of the menstrual cycle. Again, it is not important to note any day-to-day variations but to track changes over time.
