1 – Physical filtration

The upper filtering membrane: Traps particles present in the water to help initial clarification.

2 – Natural chemical filtration

Active carbon filter: Traps chlorine and thus absorbs the odour and taste from the water. Also helps to filter organic impurities.

3 – Natural chemical filtration

Ion exchange resin: Effectively reduces the level of nitrates* and heavy metals, such as lead, copper, cadmium, mercury, aluminium and zinc in the water.

4 – Physical filtration

The lower filtering membrane: Traps the mixture of filtered particles present in the cartridge
